3D Wave Acoustic Panel

When moving into our brand-new offices this summer, we had for the first time big spaces that we could dedicate to team meeting rooms.

We quickly faced the issue of sound reverb and decided to design some acoustic panels using our own Fab CNC to both improve acoustic and embellish our room. You'll find all instructions and G-code hereby to make them yourself, as well as the Fusion360 project if you want to make modifications.

The panels are 540x1008mm, and we made them in 30mm MDF. All the files are available on the bottom of the page.

Step 1

  • Use the G-code Acoustic Panel Parallel 32.15mm.nc
  • Use a BRAVO 8mm end-mill (available in our Ultimate set)
  • Place your XY0 coordinates in the center of the part and Z0 on the spoilerboard. Add 2.15mm of offset.

Step 2

  • Use the G-code Acoustic Panel Parallel 32.15mm ZETA ONLY.nc
  • Use a ZETA 3D conical end mill ( also available in our Ultimate set)
  • Place your XY0 coordinates in the center of the part and Z0 on the spoilerboard. Add 2.15mm of offset.

Step 3

  • Use the G-code Acoustic Panel Contour 30mm.nc
  • Use a BRAVO 8mm end-mill (available in our Ultimate set)
  • Place your XY0 coordinates in the center of the part and Z0 on the spoilerboard. No additional offset.
