CNC Milling - 5 Years Warranty 

We've designed our machines to last, and we're ready to prove it with a 5-years warranty.

What makes us think our machines will last?

Our machines has succesfully passed fatigue tests of hours of power, movement and milling.

We've designed our machines for long use. With that perspective, we've selected components and assemblies that are made to last:
  • Our mechanics features heavy duty aluminium profiles, steel-reinforced belts, 6-mm steel parts and high density wheels.
  • Our electronics features European control board and drivers, Neutrik connectors and Sommer cable, Sanyo Denki motors, Raspberry Pi and steel control unit.
  • Our spindles are coming from the most-known German brand AMB.

How is this warranty working?

When you have an issue with your machine, we'll get in touch with you as soon as possible to identify what the possible issue can be. The regular procedure to solve issues is the following:
1/ We'll send you a series of questions and ask for videos to make sure we fully understand the problem. If it's a problem we know and can easily be solved, we'll send you the solution by email.
2/ If needed to go further, we'll schedule a call with one of our engineers, where we'll identify the problem and help you solve it. You will always be talking to someone here to help you until your problem is fully solved.
3/ If we are not able to solve the problem remotely, we'll organize a return of the problematic parts to inspect and repair them in-house, to get them back to you as soon as possible.

What is the scope of the warranty?

1/ You are asked to inspect the goods immediately upon delivery for:
  • completeness
  • obvious defects
  • damages
Within 14 days from receipt of the goods. This is the time limit for us to be able to get back to our transporter should there be any damage due to transport.

2/ The warranty covers everything that would prevent the machine from working properly that is not due to misusage.

3/ The warranty does not cover:
  • cosmetic damages
  • damages due to misuse, negligence or non proper user building, installation, use, operation or maintenance
  • modification to the product
We'll always honestly try to identify origin of malfunctioning and get back to you accordingly before going further with any work that would cost you anything. Our objective is that this warranty guarantees you a long and happy use of your machine.

What if I am outside of the warranty?

We are not here to make any money on repairing services.

Our machines have been designed to be easily reparable: nothing is definitely fixed, thus you often just need a replacement part to put them back to work. We guarantee availability of the spare parts for as long as they are available on the market.

Even if you break something and are outside of the warranty scope, we're here to help you get the most our of your machine:
  • We'll always help you diagnose the problem with your machine
  • If we're able, at distance, to identify the problem, we'll send you the replacement parts and only make you pay for the part and the shipping.
  • If your machine need an in-house diagnosis, we'll organise a return of it to repair it in our facilities, and we'll only make you pay for the exact time spent on it, the part and the shipping.

Legal Mentions


Purchaser Remedy

Mekanika's sole obligation and purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy shall be that Mekanika will, at its option, either (i) service, or (ii) replace, any product determined by Mekanika to be defective. Mekanika reserves the right to inspect any and all product(s) involved in a warranty claim.

We will accept the return of the merchandise that we acknowledge to be defective, and we will offer a repair. If a repair is not reasonable, we offer a non-defective replacement (complete or in parts). At Mekanika's request, defective parts may be required to be returned to Mekanika. In the case of cosmetic damage, instead of repair or replacement, we can offer compensation for the reduction in value of the defective product.

Service or replacement as provided under this warranty is the purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy.

Limitation of liability

Mekanika shall not be liable for special, incidental or consequential damages, loss of profits or production or commercial loss in any way, regardless of whether such claim is based in contract, warranty, tort, negligence, strict liability or any other theory of liability, even if Mekanika has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Further, in no event shall the liability of Mekanika exceed the individual price of the product on which liability is asserted. As Mekanika has no control over use, setup, final assembly, modification or misuse, no liability shall be assumed nor accepted for any resulting damage or injury. By the act of use, setup or assembly, the user accepts all resulting liability.

Law

These terms are governed by the Belgian's law.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights. Mekanika reserves the right to change and modify this warranty at any time without notice.
