Vinyl record holder

Any vinyl record lovers in your friends and family ? This is the perfect gift for them, but it can also be used as a very stylish picture frame.

Materials

To make this project we chose 18 mm pine plywood, but you can use any material you like. You'll need a stock that is at least 196 x 175 mm.
The pins are made of 4 mm brass round bar.

The two pieces of the frame are simply glued in place using regular wood glue and a spring clamp (you can also nail it if you do have spring clamps).

Ecological alternative to real Christmas trees, our pine plywood versions are a great project to occupy kids during the holidays! You can pin nails on it to hang your decoration, or you can also directly paint the tree to decorate them!

Materials

To make this project we chose 18 mm pine plywood, but you can use any material you like.

As this project uses dog bones to connect the pieces together, you'll have to edit them in Fusion360 if you want to use another thickness of material.

For the 60 cm version, you need two pieces that are at least 375 x 560 mm and one that's 300 x 300 mm.

3D wooden bow-tie

Very popular but still a very original accessory, a wooden bow-tie is a perfect gift to make for Christmas! We gave a nice 3D texture to ours to make it very unique.

Materials

You can make this project out of any material you like, but we chose solid beech for our. You need a stock that is at least 110 x 40 x 9 mm and 2 pieces of fabric. One needs to be 2 cm wide and 4 cm long, the other 1 cm wide and 25 cm long.

Once you have all your pieces cut and your bow-tie milled, first glue the long piece of fabric to the back of the bow-tie and then wrap the wider piece around the assembly to match the picture. You can use regular super glue for this.
