Martin is a co-founder and Head of Design at Mekanika. He studied industrial design at La Cambre, the renowned art school in Brussels. Originally from Arlon in southern Belgium, he started his career in Istanbul before settling in Brussels.

At Mekanika, Martin shapes the design and hardware architecture of our machines. He defines how they look, how they're assembled, and how they can be taken apart - embodying the "design for disassembly" philosophy that runs through everything we make. His industrial design sensibility ensures that our machines are not only functional but intuitive, modular, and built to evolve with their users. Beyond Mekanika, Martin also co-founded Studio BISKT, a ceramics workshop he runs with his partner Charlotte Gigan - a testament to his deep connection to craft and making.
