Every WeCase flightcase combines two components: wood and foam. Wood panels are cut into bottoms, lids and long sides before being assembled into a sturdy box. Foam is machined into custom inserts, so each piece of equipment sits exactly where it should. With so many cuts to make in a single case, precision is what makes every part fit together.

Working environment
Based in Braine-l’Alleud, the WeCase workshop brings every step under one roof. Greg designs projects and prepares the machining files at his desk, then sends them straight to the Fab. Around it, workbenches and organized storage make room for cutting, assembling and finishing each case.

Services
Every WeCase flight case is made to measure. The process starts with the client’s request. Grégory designs the case, sends a quote, and once the client approves, production begins. Wood panels are cut, foam inserts are machined, the box is assembled and the handles are added. The result is a case built around one specific need, down to the smallest detail.

Machine Setup
Grégory started making flightcases with a router and jigs. He quickly saw that a CNC was essential to gain efficiency, speed and above all precision. Today, he programs the Mekanika Fab in advance, loads a panel and lets it run on its own while he moves the work forward. For him, it works like a person standing by his side. He also loved assembling the machine himself: from the first foot on the floor to the last electrical cable, he saw every step. Knowing why each part is there helps him understand how the machine works and pinpoint any issue much faster.

Discover the Fab
The best craftsman's ally
The Fab is the largest in the Mekanika range. But even though it measures over three meters, its kit design means it can fit through any door and into any workshop! Read more about the features of this machine on the product page.
