Very popular but still a very original accessory, a wooden bow-tie is a perfect gift to make for Christmas! We gave a nice 3D texture to ours to make it very unique.
You can make this project out of any material you like, but we chose solid beech for our. You need a stock that is at least 110 x 40 x 9 mm and 2 pieces of fabric. One needs to be 2 cm wide and 4 cm long, the other 1 cm wide and 25 cm long.
Once you have all your pieces cut and your bow-tie milled, first glue the long piece of fabric to the back of the bow-tie and then wrap the wider piece around the assembly to match the picture. You can use regular super glue for this.
