This is a beginner-friendly project that's perfect for getting started with CNC milling. You can make it your own by adding personalized engraved initials, or keep it simple and mill it as designed. It's an ideal first project that will give you hands-on experience with tool changes if you choose to include the engraving option.

In case the center pocket isn't the right size for your finger, this can be modified in Fusion 360.

Material

Our file uses a 9mm thick Plywood but you can modify it to use another thickness.

End Mills

We used a carbide 45° engraving end mill for the optional initials engraving and a 6mm downcut flat end mill (2-flute) to cut the piece, but you can of course adapt the file to use your own tools.
